As a Clinton Global Initiative Commitment Partner, the Billion Minds Institute has launched a Global Resilience Observatory, developed in partnership with the Climate Cares Centre (CCC).
Efforts to embed psychological resilience in community-led climate adaptation will require civic action, civic knowledge, and learning. They will need to be smart about what works within a particular context, but to also be in dialogue with and learn from what seems to be working across contexts.
The Observatory initiative will enable both. Through technical Regional Hubs, the Observatory will help accelerate specific efforts. It will do so by sharing and supporting the use of skills, measures, and tools, as well as hosting inclusive knowledge-exchange and pooled learning.
This will help grow a community of action and innovation for making psychological resilience and collective well-being a central part of climate resilience, especially in regions most affected by climate impacts.
